I got invited to a business lunch this Wednesday, which I am super excited about because it’s a chance to network some more. So, I put together an outfit of what to wear to a business lunch! Hot Purchase File: Steve Madden shoes

Hello lovers
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr Day! Thanks to Martin Luther King some of us got the day off today, I hope everyone is enjoying it. I’ve been busy almost all day, now that I have some time; I figured, I would blog a little. I recently purchased some hot shoes that I wanted to share. They are a head-turner Steve Madden leopard print pump with a chunky heel. What attracted me to them were the heels, they are nice and chunky, which usually means they are comfortable. Plus, they have this 70’s vintage style going on, so they were a must have! They were originally $130 but I got them on sale form $65….talk about a STEAL!

Fashion File: First Photo Shoot

Happy Saturday! I haven’t posted anything for two weeks, I guess, I haven’t been inspired….lol. What I was able to get done was my photo shoot, which went really well! Everything turned out exactly how I wanted them to. The clothes worked out great, the models were awesome, and the photographer was amazing! There were just a few minor issues but nothing big. I’m proud of myself and it was a big accomplishment for me. I feel like things are finally falling into place for me, in terms of my dreams. It was not a huge photo shoot because my budget was small; I couldn’t get really creative as I wanted and all the clothes and accessories were my own. Next time, it will be much bigger and have a lot more looks and probably have a theme. The different looks were to show my versatility.
I’ve realized in the past few years, nothing is given to you; you must go out and get whatever it is that you want out of life. I’m on a mission for greatness and I will not stop until I am GREAT!

Fashion File: Shoes

Shoes, every women love them but the problem is, not all can walk in them! I hate seeing a female with some fabulous shoes on but can’t work them. My thing is, if you can’t work them then don’t bother purchasing them. Walking in heels specifically high ones is an art and unfortunately, not every woman has mastered it. If you can’t walk in a 5 inch heel, don’t wear it, start out with a 3 inch and work your way up. Even if you have to start out with a kitten (which I hate) go for it. There is nothing sexy about struggling to walk in some sky high heels. I have been wearing heels since I was 15 years old, so it’s pretty easy because I have experience. I just wanted to share, it’s been on my mind for a while…

New Year: Big Things!

As you can see, I have a new layout, hope you guys like it! It’s a New Year, so I figured why not. The old one was BORING AND BLAH! LOL. I have a lot planned for this year and beyond. I’m ready to make my mark and let people see my creative side. The first thing that, I have plan is my photo shoot. The photo shoot is for my styling portfolio, it’s very important to have a portfolio because you want to have something to present to your potential clients. I’m super excited because my shoot is on Saturday! (BIG SMILE). What I didn’t realize was, how hard and time consuming putting a photo shoot together was and not to mention EXPENSIVE! Thank the lord, most of the clothes and accessories are mine. My budget was super tight but somehow, I managed to go over it… It has been a heck of a two months process but the end result will be great! I’m grateful my family and friends are helping me out free of charge. The only thing I really have to worry about is the photographer and the looks. I’m praying everything works out.

Fashion File: What to wear to brunch

Happy New Year Dolls!!

You would think it be easy picking out an outfit for brunch with your girls….right? Actually, it is not that easy! For some people, going out anywhere is a challenge trying to find the perfect outfit. Personally, for me it’s quite easy, from the second I make plans I start thinking of looks that I might want to wear. I usually put together three different look in my head and once the day arrives, I try all three on and select the best one. I put a brunch look together, hope you guys like it. It’s pretty practical and you can get the pieces from your favorite stores.
